路易·巴士德（法語：Louis Pasteur，1822年12月27日－1895年9月28日），法國微生物學家、化學家，微生物學的奠基人之一。他以否定自然發生說（自生說）並倡導疾病細菌學說（菌原論）和發明預防接種方法而聞名。被世人稱頌為 「進入科學王國的最完美無缺的人」。被視為細菌學之祖

路易·巴士德生於法國汝拉省多勒，父親是拿破崙軍騎兵隊的一名退伍軍人，後成為皮鞋匠。1847年，巴黎高等師範學院（Ecole Normale Superieure）畢業。1848年成為物理教授。1881年著手研究狂犬病，1885年以減毒的方式（the method for attenuatio of virulent microorganisms）研製出減毒狂犬病疫苗，同年7月6日治療一受狂犬咬傷的9歲兒童Joseph Meister。1868年首次中風。1887年再次中風。1895年9月28日卒於巴黎。
